Summary: Cronbo is the public website for the iPhone app currently developed as DuckAgent. The app provides optional AI, email, calendar, reminder and focus-related tools. You remain responsible for decisions and for checking important information and actions. Connected third-party services have their own rules.
1. Agreement and scope
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern use of cronbo.com and the Cronbo/DuckAgent iOS app made available by the app's publisher (“Cronbo”, “we”, “us”). By using the website or an available app build, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you disagree, do not use the service.
The app is currently in development. Features described on the website may be unavailable, change, or be introduced later. App availability, pricing and release terms will be announced separately.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally permitted to use the service and comply with the minimum age and consent rules applicable where you live and for any connected accounts. The app is not directed to children under 13. A Cronbo website account is not required for these static pages; optional integrations may require accounts with Google, Apple, Microsoft or an AI provider.
3. What the app does
The app may provide a unified interface for viewing and searching connected messages, managing calendars and reminders, setting focus/Screen Time limits, receiving notifications, viewing suggested departure times, and chatting with supported local or remote AI models. These features depend on permissions, device support, provider availability and the app version.
4. Permissions and actions on your behalf
You choose whether to grant access to Gmail, Outlook, iCloud Mail, calendars, reminders, Screen Time, notifications, photos, camera and location-related capabilities when offered. You authorize the app to perform only actions you request or enable through its settings and integrations. Some features can create, edit, send, archive, mark, or otherwise change information in connected services; review permissions and confirmations carefully.
Changes to calendar items, reminders, email state or focus limits can have real-world consequences. The app may offer confirmation or action-history controls, but you should still check the resulting state in the original service. Account providers may impose rate limits and other usage restrictions.
5. AI output is not guaranteed
AI-generated text, summaries, suggestions and task interpretations can be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed or inappropriate. The app is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, safety or emergency advice. Verify important dates, addresses, recipients, email content, reminders, routes and other actions before relying on them. Don't rely on notifications or Screen Time controls as a sole safety mechanism.
6. Third-party accounts, AI and services
Connecting an account authorizes communication with that account's provider for the requested features. Google, Apple, Microsoft, maps providers and optional AI services such as OpenAI, Anthropic or Google operate independently and may have their own terms, privacy practices, service restrictions and charges. Features may stop working if authorization is revoked, an API changes, the device lacks support, or a provider becomes unavailable.
Local AI models can run on supported devices without sending inference prompts to an external model provider, but information fetched from connected accounts still requires network access. Remote AI providers receive the specific information transmitted for a task; review our Privacy Policy before selecting one.
7. Acceptable use
Use Cronbo lawfully and respect the rights, privacy and accounts of others. Do not attempt to bypass access controls, compromise connected services, impersonate another person, send unlawful content, distribute malware, misuse APIs, or interfere with the service. Do not use the app to access data or accounts without authorization.
8. Your content
You retain whatever rights you hold in messages, documents, prompts, attachments and other material you provide or connect. You give the app the limited permission needed to process that content for the functions you request and, where applicable, transmit it to the service you choose. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to supply or share the content. The handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Availability, changes and updates
The website and any pre-release app build may be changed, suspended or discontinued, and may contain bugs. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, perfect results, compatibility with every device, or that a particular integration will remain supported. Updates may change features or require additional permissions.
10. Pricing and provider charges
The public website currently has no paid account or checkout feature. Pricing for the iPhone app has not been announced. Your mobile-data provider and any third-party services you use may charge fees under their own terms. Any future paid Cronbo features will be described before purchase and subject to applicable store policies and consumer rights.
11. Disclaimer and liability
To the extent allowed by applicable law, the website and app are provided on an “as available” basis without a promise that suggestions or automated results are error-free. We are not responsible for outages or independent decisions made by third-party providers, except where law requires otherwise. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies non-excludable consumer guarantees, statutory rights, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your rights under applicable consumer law prevail.
12. Stopping use and permissions
You may stop using the website or uninstall the app at any time. You can separately revoke third-party access through the relevant provider and change permissions through iOS Settings. Removing the app does not necessarily undo modifications already made to external mail, calendar, reminders or other services. See the data and access section of our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service develops. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date and additional notice when required. Continued use after any valid change takes effect signifies acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
14. Contact
For support, legal questions or requests related to these Terms, contact [email protected]. These Terms are intended to work alongside applicable law in the user's location; they do not designate a governing jurisdiction or waive mandatory local protections.
